Yeah, unfortunately if they feel like you are a primarily a KC person any discussion of possible difficulties in St Louis are treated as personal attacks. Also same with comparisons

I agree Pendleton Heights has the ability to become the next crossroads with the right development in the east village, I could even see it having an e-w streetcar line

I could do the split, would be much better integrated for sure. Costs would suck though, but could spur transit to KCK asap
