Re: New QuikTrip near Antioch Mall
It closed about the time the new Gary Crossley location opened on Church Road. I'm guessing it's been over a year. BTW, found some more info. The store will go on the north side of the access road between Antioch & KMart. The south parcel may become a QT car wash. http://cityclerk.kcmo.org/Live...

Re: New QuikTrip near Antioch Mall
QuikTrip store #238 is proposed for the SE corner of Vivion Rd & NE Antioch Rd. If I read this right, this is the site of the former Bill Woods Ford. http://cityclerk.kcmo.org/liveweb/Meetings/CommitteeAgenda.aspx?q=1m4%2fqajjqSCsFjVQr528aTSa6FOxuzfkKHI9yP8KeIRmqceTHsd6PWjSktJmhxDJ Item 080108 ...

Re: I-35 and 291<< Walgreens and Price Chopper
Where did you hear this? I assume both would be within KCMO city limits since both Pour Boys and Mcdonalds are both KCMO. The church across the street is Liberty. My brother in law, who works in codes for the city of KC, told my husband about Price Chopper. Walgreens I heard about from a lady wh...

I-35 and 291<< Walgreens and Price Chopper
I've heard that a Price Chopper is going in, right behind Pour Boy's and next to McDonald's. (Across from Pleasant Valley Church). Also, a Walgreen's will be built across from Sonic, next to the houses there. Has anyone else heard of this? Also, the new Chinese Place up there is pretty good. They...

That would be nice. It's ok now, but nothing special.KC_Hams wrote: I heard from a reliable source last night that the Sears Grand in Liberty will undergo some remodeling later this year (May?) and will become a full Sears store.

Also I recommend La Fuente in Kearney. Great food and you'll be out of there in 45 minutes tops. I think there's also one recently opened on the Liberty square. Los Compas is the name of the place on the square in Liberty. I think it's the same owners as La Fuente. For excellant mexican food, w...

That is what I was going by, the entrance. I think the Pennys and Circuit City would be a much bigger building.KCJason wrote: Based on the corner entrance to the building it looks like an Aldi. I assume the pennys and circuit city will be at the second entrance.

Do you all think the big building going up, behind the Taco Bell at 152 and Flintlock is the Aldi's? Has anyone heard for sure?

Re: Old Navy in Liberty Area
I'm not offended, but I like Old Navy b/c I can buy stuff for 4 kids there pretty reasonably. I'm not going to pay big $$ for them to outgrow it in a few months. Oh, and I'm not a beer bellied man, but I do wear Old Navy's $5 flag shirts.

Why, why, why? There is a Best Buy there already. And why an Office Max too?Slappy the Wang wrote: Circuit City should also be open in the Spring.

I agree. But, if a Taco Bell is going in there, my kids would love it.zlohban wrote: They sure moved a lot of dirt and spent plenty on that creek for the poor sampling of stores that have been built.

An Aldi would be great! Now if I can get an Old Navy and a Fazolli's up there, my life would be perfect.zlohban wrote: ALDI
OK - I did hear a small food market is going into that area. I was hoping for a Whole Food Market or something of the such.

Old Navy in Liberty Area
What has ever happened with the Old Navy? I thought it was going in the new development at Flintlock and 152, but we have a paint store and other stuff. Also, has anyone heard what is going in across the street besides the Panda Express?

Re: New stores in Liberty area...
It was a good idea with a HORRID LOCATION that was on the way to nowhere during the morning coffee rush. PLUS, they needed a drive thru. It got pathetic as I was by one day and they had a sign for TACOS. On the subject of that strip center....have you been to JADE GARDEN? I'm curious about the q...

Interesting! I kind of would of liked to see a mini golf course. That would be fun to have something else to do in Liberty with the kids besides bowling and rollerskating or movies.

Re: New stores in Liberty area...
They've been doing a good job of keeping their future tenants under wraps. I haven't heard anything about who else is going in there. I haven't heard anything about the new QT either. I thought they were prepping the ground for it awhile back but apparently they were pushing that dirt around for...

Have you heard what stores are going to be there besides the tan place, Social suppers and the salon? Also, has anyone heard when the new QT will be built?Thrillcekr wrote: I saw yesterday that a skeleton is now being erected for a second strip behind the new strip mall near the Sonic on 291.
