Re: Random Pictures of Kansas City
When you are posting a reply, there should be a button that says "Insert Image" when you move your cursor over it (it is in between "Insert Flash" and "Insert Hyperlink", as well as below the "Italics" selection). Once you click that, you just put in the ULR ...

Re: OFFICIAL: Power & Light District
Good to hear that people are coming down and looking around to see what is going on. Two colleagues and I went to lunch at Chef Burger today. We have been trying to find the time to go on several occasions but each previous attempt they were just way to crazy busy. When you have lines going out t...

Re: Sonics on their way out of Seattle?
Sheesh, Kansas City would be SO much better for the Sonics than Oklahoma City. Too bad we couldn't draw the Sonics to KC.

Those pictures were great. I love seeing the progression of time and its effect on the City scape. Thanks for sharing!

Re: Could the P+L be a flop?
LOL. I sort of feel bad for the fellow... but if you are going to drink like a horse. Be prepared for the consequences. Maybe he'll make some royalties from his photo op. :p Oh, and outside the DB, you're right... even I've seen worse. Ha.

Re: OFFICIAL: Power & Light District
I can certainly nod in agreement to most of what Justin is saying, but I certainly think given some time they will work out the system and hopefully it will make for smooth flow in and around the area. I was just driving through there on Saturday and realized that at the other most west block of P&...

Re: OFFICIAL: Power & Light District
PEDICAB SERVICE. I haven't seen them but heard they started working downtown. Does anyone know how to get a hold of the service and what events/times they operate?

Re: ChefBurger
I'm still trying to get to ChefBurger to try it out. I work downtown and every time we try to go at lunch, its near impossible. Actually tried to go today and the line was 20 deep out of the DOOR!. Yikes!

Re: Big 12 Tournament Photos
Awesome pictures you all! I was there for parts of the tournament and it was rockin'. Even at lunch at KCLive, it was great out and lots of people out watching the NCAAs on the big screen. Cheers!

Re: Arena Parking Challenge
Are people truly that lazy? I'm a big guy, 260 pounds and not in the best of shape but I parked 4-5 blocks away and walked to the KC Auto show. When the tourney was down at Kemper as well as some other big events, I've had to park in the boonies and hoof it to the arena. Have you ever been to Oak...

Re: Big XII Tournament, the P+L, downtown in general.
I have only heard positive feedback from most people I've talked to. Most were quite jazzed about the energy and vibe of the P&L district and how it works with the Sprint Center. Just think of the positive buzz with just 15 businesses open. Wait until the district is near its 67 business capa...

Re: Big XII Tournament, the P+L, downtown in general.
And just think that we have all of this great feedback with the Power and Light having only 14-15 open businesses. What will it be like when there's 40?!? This is a great time for Kansas City and we should be proud of the revitalization that is going on. I do hope our public transit works out the ...

Re: Arena Parking Challenge
There are other smaller surface lots North of the arena and if you aren't worried about walking a bit it can be as cheap as $2.10 all day if you get there early enough. I park on 7th and Grand when I have to drive into work. Also, there is a free lot at 3rd and Grand in the Rivermarket where you c...
