Houlihan's moving out of the Plaza?

Good letter KC, I'll be interested in their response, if they do respond. I agree the Plaza needs to continue to bring in top tier stores and forget about suburbanizing the district. Unique, specialty stores are what makes the Plaza unique (or at least once did).

Plaza resturaunt question...

It seems that corner has had those concrete barriers around it for over a year now, yet I never see any work going on there. I can't figure that out. I wish somebody would move in there because it's a great location. Sometime I miss the way that Seville building used to look like, it was like a mini...

Re: OFFICIAL - Arena construction

If a new arena does get built downtown, what are the chances that we will get an NBA or NHL team. Okl City just built a new 20,000 seat arena and I don't believe they have any professional sports teams. I could see the NBA going into that market because they tend to move franchises to cities where t...

I'll stop by there tonight and see what I can find out. There's no way they could occupy that entire area. The only problem with the area is you have that huge underground basement to fill. I still think a Niketown would have been perfect. It almost seems to me that the Plaza is selling out to the e...

I didn't see any other signs indicating another tenant. I thought there was already a Kansas City type store on the west side of the plaza not far from the Starbucks. I would think they could have found better use for this space, I'm just a little disapointed. Sometimes I think the Plaza is way too ...

So much for a Niketown or Urban Outfitter's for this location. It looks like it's going to be a Kansas City Store that specializes in KC merchandise........yeah! Who was the idiot who thought this was a good idea? Give me a break, that is a prime location for something really unique. Why not a Niket...

With Pottery Barn and Z Galleria both on the Plaza plus Restoration Hardware, I don't know if there is enough demand on the Plaza to support a C & B. I've actually never heard of C & B, I had to look them up on the internet. I assume those companies are some of their prime competitors....cor...

Is this project still a go? I thought they would have broken ground already, but the Plaza library is still sitting vacant.
