I was always under the assumption that it was named the "Grandview Triangle" in the 70's when it opened because when you drove in you may never come out , just like the "Bermuda Triangle" that was so popular back then.

No way another megaplex is going into KC any time soon, let alone in that tried location. I would guess Ray/pec would be next.

None the less, its still reinforces the argument that KC should not worry about the burbs. The WORST thing KC can do is start reacting to what the burbs do.

My main thoughts on this leadership thing relate more to mass transit than anything else.

SBC has a longlines building in Mission at 35 and metcalf. But the microwave reception towers (the things they are tearing down at AT&T) are not used anymore. Most of that trafic is carried by the fiber backbone now. Much more reliable.
