Re: Quixotic dance
I see that Janelle Monae will also be there. Along with Quixotic, not bad representation for KC.

Re: Ingram's Magazine
I don't live in KC and am hungry for any information (or pictures) I can lay my eyes on. I'm not aware of that many sources that are updated regularly. I visit flickr, the Star, the business journal and this site daily. If anyone is aware of other good sources, I'd love to know about them.

He is the editor. I've never seen noticed the articles being colored by those points of view.

Ingram's Magazine
I don't see Ingram's referenced on this site. It is a monthly magazine with, at least occasionally, some interesting articles on KC. I think many of you would enjoy it.

Re: Empty Lot near Kauffmant Center..Kemper Museum Should Ex
Along this same line of thought, I'd love to see the Nelson exhibit their photography collection downtown. It would be a credible museum in its own right, I think.

Re: We need a new airport!!!
Let's imagine the nearly incredible: Kansas City starts growing like Denver has in the past few years and is also picked as a hub location by an airline. Does this configuration allow for significant future concourse construction? Is that dark purple line running through current terminal B a future ...

Nice enough article. I was disappointed to see the Star discount the positive assessment in their coverage. Only in Kansas City.

I'm not a very experienced traveler, but I'd recommend the Captain Cook in Anchorage. Great vintage decor immaculately maintained. If I remember correctly, the owner lives on the premises and each morning personally reviews the previous day's comment cards. http://lh4.googleusercontent.com/public/...

A couple of barbeque places whose reputation extends beyond their immediate locale: Bridges in Shelby and Lexington in...Lexington. I've also heard good things about Hendrix of which there are two in the Salisbury area. Sorry none of these are first hand recommendations. Vegetarian here. Charlot...

I believe the the 'fringe' term comes primarily from the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and Charleston Piccolo Festival Fringe, rather than from the avant-garde character of the productions.
