Re: P&L District: 13th & Baltimore site proposal
Wonder what would still be considered a big name tenant? When this was being built, everyone was excited about ESPNZone. Not sure if anything like that exists anymore. With the caveat that I think all these places are lame: Bubba Gump Benihana Old Spaghetti Factory Cheesecake Factory would be a get...

Re: OFFICIAL: The Streets at Metcalf (Metcalf South redevelo
Could Walmart be interested in building there? The store further down Metcalf is not a "superstore." So we might be looking at a Mission Mall/Gateway controversy in the future... I don't really see the Metcalf neighborhood putting up much of a fight. Mission has more of a local business, ...

Re: Jimmy John's to open Drive-Thru restaurant at 9th & Broa
Just had lunch at The Majestic. Bartender said that the Jimmy John's drive-through next door is on hiatus because of a requirement that the new structure comply with certain architectural requirements, particularly period brick fascia. Because the demolition contractor disposed of the 100-year-old ...

also, just because kansas CAN spend it doesn't mean they should. Whether it's $600 million for JoCo freeways, $2 billion for a new KCI, or $400 million for a bridge to a barely populated island, when it comes to "free" federal money, you take it. Unless, that is, you're some sort of right...
