In fact, I seem to remember a time in the not-too-distant past when a #1 MU team choked vs. OU when faced with a one-game shot to play in the national title. KSU ruined a natinal title shot in 2003, etc. It happens both ways. For the record, OU still played for the NC after the KSU loss in 2003.
