wow, that's like asking why a city should provide roads, or even water.

The City should invest in a few stations to kickstart this, near MAX stops... 3rd/Grand, 10th/Main center, Xroads, CC, Plaza MAX stops.

Strange list.. is by city only including small towns... is not by metro. Is interesting that KCMO makes the list but OP doesn't. KCMO and Minneapolis/St. Paul are the only Midwest cities on the list I saw (that are of major metro areas).
