Re: The Worst Chain Restaurant in America
perhaps, but there isn't a non-chain that serves thousands of people per day. for me, that is the mind-boggling aspect of huge, shitty chains - they are not just shitty, but they entice enormous quantities of people to eat there. this is far more interesting to me than independent local restauran...

Equally puzzling are the non-chain restaurants that everyone purports to love but that actually aren't anything special.KCMax wrote: Chrizow's postgot me thinking - we talk about best restaurants a lot, but what are the truly vile places that somehow seem to continue in business beyond all comprehension?

Re: Flooding on the Missouri
The thing that is making me nervous is the Ft. Peck Dam. From what the report states, it isn't a matter of 'if' but 'when'. If it goes, there will be repercussions not just along the Missouri, but all the way to New Orleans. If it holds, hopefully, it will be a wake-up call to overhaul our dams and...

I'm not sure what to think, either. I'm not interested in iOS features on my PC. Lion looks like Snow Leopard in the sense that it's a big "meh."bobbyhawks wrote: -Not sure really what to think of OS X Lion. Sounds like some nice upgrades to an already smooth OS.

Supposedly Gingerbread is more power efficient. I hope so because the EVO's battery life blows when it's on CDMA or WiMAX.
