What a troll column.

Completely agree. This would be a nice return for Stanford's to westport & reuse of the Beaumont club.

^ I agree that I wish it was taller. For comparison though H&R Block's HQ is 17 floors compared to this building @ 23... not sure how the residential compares to the commercial though.

Downzoning, density, and overlay districts also had a good night. There was a good discussion about appropriate levels of density is almost a block-by-block undertaking. The example of South HP having apartments on the E-W streets and SFH on the N-S streets came up as an example of how neighborhood...

That is a pretty good line up!
Also, buzz under the stars night one has a really good line up as well- for only $25. KC has a great concert season lined up...wish i had more money/time.

There are a lot of things in the regulatory world that work along the lines of "if we don't hear anything in a timely fashion, we'll assume that we're good to go." The company seems to have evidence that they applied when they should have, and it sounds like the permit is really to ensure...

Most is a stretch. We probably have 24 inches on the ground currently (which is what the map reflects), but that is the highest measurement they have....meaning the mountain areas could easily have lots more than that. In speaking to my sister tonight (who lives in Grand County) she said they have a...

Its a great cause and its kind of cool they are HQ here. Why are they HQ anyway? Its Co Founded by Matt Damon and it appears to be a fairly high profile/Hollywood type of charity. It just seems like it would do just make more sense if they were located in LA, NY or DC to tap a large potential of do...

KC KS planning regulations prohibit metal as a exterior building finish. But Cerner's Architects gave all kind of reassurances that it was very high quality stainless steel that wouldn't rust or cast glare from the sun that would cause drivers on 435 to wreck their cars. I hope the finished product...
