Union Station (request)
I was looking at some pictures from the St. Louis Rising web site. They have some great photos from in and around the Union Station in downtown St. Louis. It's pretty impressive. So, I was just wondering if someone could please post some pictures from in and around Kansas City's Union Station. Thank...

A couple very tall towers or many mid-size towers for KC?
That is one of the things I like about KC more than other cities, like STL for example. We have lots of 10, 20, 30 and 40 floors buildings in our skyline... STL however, has mostly 10, 30 and 40 floor buildings in their skyline. STL has a ton of buildings 10-12 floors... More than we do, however we...

Not Sure
I'm still not sure how I'll vote on BS II. Why should we have to give millions to a team that doesn't need anymore money??
But, on the other hand...it might help downtown. And, anything that helps downtown, I'm all for!!
WHAT'S A VOTER TO DO???

It can happen...
I have faith in HOK and the local groups. With them being from KC, they will no doubt give KC the best arena at the lowest price. The arena can have ALL that stuff (fountains, ice skating, lights, etc.)..and still be $250M. A great arena can be built for about $100M - $200. (I've studied this) No, I...

Ok, well, I've, of course, heard of Southwest Trwy. And, at least I have seen the Plaza, LOL!! (If not the Westside).

My 2 cents on 71 Hwy....
Ok look, this is what I think of the 3 stops along 71... I live in Grandview and work in Liberty. I love going to the Plaza or even downtown. I take many friends to KCI. So, if I want to go anywhere in this city, I usally have to take 71 highway. My problem isn't with the run-down houses and busines...

I have many thoughts on this subject....
Ok, I have so many thoughts on this subject!!! And, I love all of the ideas discussed aboved. Last month, I was in St. Louis and I got a good look at their highway signs. First, what I would like to see on highways that are in both KS and MO (I-435, I-35, I-70, I-670, etc.) is a sign with flashing y...

Westside???
I have 2 comments... #1. Where is the Westside in KC? I have never heard of if it, nor I have seen it (until I saw those cool photos). #2. I'm all for a KC Photos site and I'd be glad to do anything I can to help! As for names (other than KCPhotos.com), how about.. 1. BestOfKC.com 2. KCneighborhoods...

Great pics!!! Every single one of those pictures (except the one that WASN'T taken in KC) is why I love the Plaza!!! I live in Grandview, I love the city life!!! I want to be where the people are! What about the Wizards???
If a new Downtown Baseball stadium is built, why not demolish Kauffman and built a soccer stadium?!?! This is not what I want to see happen, but Lamar Hunt has implyed that he would move the Wizards to another city if Kansas City doesn't built a soccer stadium. And, Kansas City needs all the sports ...

What's Grandview and Belton to do????
This is one of the few drawbacks to living in Grandview and Belton!!!! For me (in Grandview), if I want to do ANYTHING, I have to go to either Lee's Summit or Johnson County!!! Belton, while growing, still doesn't have very much and Grandview only has Price Chopper (which now closes at midnight) and...

KCMO is beautiful, too!!!
I don't mean that Downtown KCMO doesn't have beauty!!! I love downtown KCMO (way more than OP). I have my "3 favorite blue buildings" (Walnut, TransAmerica, and One KC Place). And, despite it not being an active downtown...it IS a downtown and I love it. =D> I like downtown OPKS, too. But ...

I know the first picture is of a hotel. But, what's "that pink building" called in the second picture???? P. S. On another note...Downtown Overland Park VS. Downtown KCMO: OP doesn't have much of a "downtown," but has great beauty. KCMO doesn't have "great beauty" (righ...
