Here are some highlights from the meeting: - Crowd estimate of about 50 people - Pitts lead most of the meeting going through a quick runthrough of what was going to happen going forward - Board was elected including a web designer and a finance guy and some pe...

Re: OFFICIAL: Power & Light District
i was just commenting tonight how I'd like to see mounted police. I'm surprised he didn't say "let's tear that down" about 10 buildings :) So is it almost accepted now that we are getting an ESPNzone? It's tossed out by everybody as it's already a lock. Some other tenant news, Hearne's col...

Westport Flea Market STILL IN EXISTENCE!
There are rumors floating around that some new company has bought the Holiday Inn westport and doing renovations to it to keep it a Holiday Inn. Along with that they are rumored to be buying the lot next to the hotel which is the Westport Flea Market lot. Supposedly they want to demo the Flea and p...

New Orleans
Went to New Orleans to see the Chiefs play and just for a fun weekend. Some highlights. - Don't take the airport shuttle to/from if you are staying downtown. There is a public bus that goes right by Canal street for $1.60 each way...much better than $13 each way. Takes a little longer though. - NOLA...

Best Local News Stations
4 in the AM is alright as you are getting ready but I like 9 in the evenings if I watch any of it. As much as all local tv news sucks, I think a nice 24 hour KC news station would be nice. Similiar to headline news but kc oriented. Kind of like espnzone a lot of it would repeat during certain hours ...

You won't find that on here, it changes too often. Best suggestion would be to search all projects and copy and paste if you need a listing for something.KCghettoboi wrote:KCPC, I meant a organized list all on one thread

metrobuddy...thanks for those numbers.
I was in NOLA this weekend and didn't really get the "feeling" I was trying to describe there. So I think it comes down to an unfamiliar city that is much larger than KC.

14 story building clad in limestone....like that part. initial thoughts about the design of this building I didn't like very much. the Fed taking 15 acres of abandonded hospital ground and doing something to improve those 15 acres....I like that very much. the hospital site was a huge eyesore that w...

My Ideas to Help the Wizards
1) I believe they do televise quite a few games on MS.
2) I'm good with that
3) Isn't that all based on demand? Can't force a retailer to carry items that don't move can you?
4) Agreed
Great ideas DMW

are each of those posts REALLY like taking pictures of pad restaurant sites in the burbs? That's what I was trying to poke fun at.
if we didn't talk about chains in the retail world, we couldn't talk about anything.
