Re: MU vs. KU - a sports competition that will determine superiority FOREVER!!!

I know how a jump ball works.  I just think that relying on the possession arrow to decide who gets the ball means that refs shouldn't call a jump ball when the opposing team barely touches the ball for a millisecond.  In other words its a bad rule.

Re: The Indie

My wife and I usually end up here after dinner or a night out in P&L.  It's a nice place to wind down in our opinion.  Good atmosphere, good service, and comfortable seats!

Re: MU vs. KU - a sports competition that will determine superiority FOREVER!!!

KU melted down in this one.  It's that simple.  You can't expect to get a technical and miss two free throws towards the end of the game and expect to win on the road against a hostile rival.  Missouri, despite poor shot selection, was tougher in the last 7 minutes which is when it really counts.  C...

I would put N Valentino as a luxury store.  have you ever seen their prices!  Also, I consider Tumi a luxury store as well.  Just my personal thoughts.

Re: Fairway BP Station

The Star article mentioned they would have part of the store as an ice cream parlor.  They also mentioned that they'll be making some specialty chocolates (truffles and such) on site.  So I don't think this is just going to be some over the top boxed chocolate store.  It sounds as though it will be ...

According the KCStar it is going to be a Russell Stovers shop similar to their new concept store next to Oak Park Mall.  They are tearing down the old BP and building a new store.

Re: New Years 2008

I think Union Station is having their annual New Years Eve party, but of course it ends at about 12:30 or 1:00.

BTW - I'm no genius, but I'm fairly certain it would be New Years 2009  8)

Re: Circuit City Closing KC Metro Stores

So I checked out their sales hoping I could get a deal on a new TV, but they only lowered their prices on almost every item by 10%.  I know they'll probably lower them later, but I'm not going to be checking out the sale prices every day.  If someone notices that they have dropped their prices on al...

Re: Sushi

I'm not an expert or anything, but I've eaten Sushi all over this country as well as Fiji and I have to admit that Jun's really stacks up against all the other places I've eaten.  East Coast sushi is horrible, I've not yet found anywhere on the East coast that I've liked.  But as far as KC goes, I r...

The HD Quality is great for me.  Much better than Time Warner ever was and I rarely get pixilation unlike Time Warner where I had pixilation at least twice a day.  The customer service is also loads better.

Wornall Landslide

For the last several months there has been a landslide/sinkhole blocking part of Wornall just south of the Plaza.  Anyone know who's responsibility it is to fix it and when that might happen?  It is just in front of Kirkwood condo building.
