Thank you, Norm. I will definitely look into the Roku or Apple TV possibilities.

Re: Do you have or plan to get Google Fiber?
Hi, all. I'm the one person "in a deployed Google Fiber area but sticking with current or moving to other ISP." My current provider is Spectrum. Today, they dumped two giant boxes at my front door containing a modem/router combo thing plus something like a digital box (I'm guessing here) f...

Re: SE Missouri 2016
Very close to the same area is Taum Sauk Mountain State Park. It features the highest point in Missouri, but it also boasts beautiful scenery. I do have pictures from our visit there, but you know how slow I am at posting these things. There's also Johnson's Shut-Ins State Park nearby. I already pos...

We’re still tromping through Elephant Rock State Park. Our path led us to this “rocky top” sort of place. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/50588526326_f5436a4031_c_d.jpg Other folks enjoyed the big rocks along with us. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/50588526356_86bd2b0287_c_d.jpg My husband ...

Yes, Highlander. My son commented on the foolishness of building a lake on top of a mountain like that. For all those who love purple. You know who you are. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/50558782381_c33342eb50_c_d.jpg I call these baby daisies. I’m sure they have a different, real name. https:...

Re: SE Missouri 2016
Thank you for posting that message about your relatives, FangKC. My grandfather owned many acres about 120 miles south of St. Louis in Iron County. He owned and ran a sawmill. He also built houses in the area. One of them was where his wife and nine children lived. It was a beautiful, two-story hous...

Re: SE Missouri 2016
I have to add my son's comment: That's what could happen when you build a lake on top of a mountain. Of course it did happen. It was asking for trouble.

Re: SE Missouri 2016
Hi, Moderne. I didn't remember anything, so I asked my son. He said there were boulders strewn all over. He showed me on Google Maps how the trees were stripped down to the bedrock. I grabbed a screen shot that shows it: https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/50441449498_e8f518ca08_o_d.jpg Hope this he...

We are walking around Johnson Shut-Ins State Park. It is May, 2016, and we are headed for a reunion near St. Louis, but we visited a few other places. Here, we see that we are entering the Johnson’s Shut-Ins State Park. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/50338957892_b29001f952_c_d.jpg My husband and son venture down a path in the forest. https://li...

Arkansas 2019 Part 6
These are the last pictures for this trip. Another picture on the lodge wall, scrunched and twisted just a little to force a nearly correct shape. Didn’t see any real ones. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/50314349322_a502e6aa9d_c_d.jpg I liked the foggy atmosphere. The original picture is framed...

We stopped at a gorgeous lodge for lunch. I took a few pictures as we walked around the place. Re: Arkansas 2019 Part 5
Years ago, I was joined by my husband and grown son on a duck boat ride, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We first rode around on land, in a partly wooded area, where we saw a number of WWII artifacts. Plowing into the water at a good clip was exhilarating. I'm terribly sorry for the misfortune of othe...

This is a tiny flower, which makes the even tinier yellow flower-like doodads in the middle remarkable. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/50216867567_8ac17af229_c_d.jpg Interesting sign on a rock, warning you of a high cliff. Aw, shucks. Thanks! You obviously paid close attention to the thing—which I appreciate—or you wouldn't have spotted the defect. You are cool, too.

Thank you for noticing my mistake, WSPanic. Aaaarrrggghhh! I tried so hard not to mess up. And thank you, Normalthings, for your kind comment. I'm happy to hear you messed with the puzzle, albeit flawed. The puzzle was flawed, not you.
