I suggested this as it's about the only thing that makes sense to save that building. However some people pushed back hard because there are some non-historical and non-impressive buildings being used. Tearing down all the "non-historical and non-impressive" buildings is how we destroyed ...

there are are a few opportunities along Walnut from 10th St to 7th street. This building, then head North and you have the budilding that held the comedy club/Stables and the parking garage next to it. They appear to be re-doing the Hampton Inn next door. A goal of good urbanism is having people on the street. The skywalk was invented to get people off the street. So, building skywalks is bad urbanism.
