How about we return to the subject at hand? The size and style of the houses in this area are pretty irrelevant. The apartments and 39th St. frontage bldgs are, and this design fits in OK with the area, right?

I enjoy all of the options listed above. I was thinking about this the other day and I'd like to throw out a perhaps controversial option--Cheesecake Factory. While I'm not a fan of the restaurant, the patio on the Plaza has that great fountain and plenty of seating. Reminds me of many of the plaza...

Pho 97 is one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in KC, pho sure. I hope they can re-open somewhere nearby.

I believe they are supposed to have a fence, but it isn't necessarily enforced, beyond the initial approval. Another stupid-assed reg. industries rule. Can't serve booze unless you keep 'em fenced in! Jeesh.

Perhaps they will turn into pumpkins on the first day of winter. Just imagine the lawsuits!

This deal is so bizarre and deja-vu-ish.

I don't understand why a bunch of lawyers absolutely need to be in their new building by the fall of 2013. Is their lease up then? Anyone know why that deadline?
