Re: OFFICIAL - City Club Apartments (former Midwest Hotel)
This is terrible. Why don't they charge and put these criminals starting these fires in prison? The same as drug dealers and murderers, if they would just crack down on crime things would be a lot safer.

Re: Misc Crossroads News
good riddance...they would never clean their sidewalks... Seems like a great place for a nice outdoor patio restaurant. Watch this parcel closely. Haven’t heard good rumors. More self-storage? People need some place to put their stuff. My garage is so full I have two units rented to put my extra th...

I think this is going to be a nice hotel. It reminds me of something fancy in Vegas. I hope they plan to put colored flood lights on the outside.

I guess some of them houses up the hill can be torn down. A lot of them are old looking and frankly I think dangerous looking. It would be a little walk but I think people need to walk more anyways.

Re: Phase 2 streetcar to UMKC
Ok everybody I didn't mean no harm. I will not talk about parking lots again if it is so upsetting to everybody. I was just trying to be realistic and then a bunch of you got your panties in a wad because you didn't like it and you all went off topic. I will not say anything about parking lots if it...

And Missourians are expected to walk? You may think you live in a big city but you don't. Most of th epeople on the Missouri side live the same as Kansasns and drive every place to.

I do like all the old buildings. I get scared when I have to look for street parking so I prefer parking lots.

Re: Status and future of the River Market area??
I know people always say that but in reality people have to drive. This is not New York city. Do you not have a car? It would not be easy to live here without one.

Re: Status and future of the River Market area??
Why do they keep building these places without any parking? I know you people do not like parking lots, you have torn me a new one about it but most people want parking and if people is going to live there they need parking lots.

Some of those old houses look dangerous so maybe it is best to tear them down before some kids get hurt or something.

Re: Two Light - 14th & Grand
Those buildings are real pretty. I love all that glass and it makes them look good. I think if they put some lights on there they would look better at night. I was in Miami and thought it was real neat how they put the different color lights on the buildings and bridges. Something like that would be...

Re: Phase 2 streetcar to UMKC
Sorry I was just responding to the people saying bad things about me. I saw the train on Main street and I think it is real neat. I was worried it might take away some parking but somebody said before that they thought it would add some parking if it runs down the middle of the street. With these tr...

Thank you for your decent response. Yes, I live in Kansas and I like my area I also like to go to the Plaza so I think I should be able to say what I think. Isn't this a place to come to talk about Kansas City? If you all just want to pat each other on the backs, like good old boys, fine but I think...

Wow that looks pretty neat! I love the green siding. I live in Olathe right now but I have to admit this looks pretty nice too. What do apartments in that area rent for?
