Fran Owens, Blue Springs director of economic development, says the new Home Depot is a welcome addition to the city's retail base. "We're excited about the project as far as the store and what it represents," he said. "Blue Springs is a growing community, and we're on the fringe...E...

New stadium in Denver for Colorado Rapids (MLS)

The problem with Kansas City sports is the Halls and Stowers don't care to own major league sports franchises. That's where the money is. Hunt will be happy if he can get Arrowhead renovated and Glass (I'm not really sure what Glass' intends to do. He goes on record and states we should renovate Ka...

Posted on Wed, Sep. 24, 2003 New developments proving to be popular By KARALEE MILLER The Kansas City Star It's risky to recognize anyone or anything during that first year in the limelight. The Grammy Awards alone have proven that over the years. Two words come to mind: Milli Vanilli. Who knew that...

New stadium in Denver for Colorado Rapids (MLS)

wow, problem is Hunt gets a sweet deal in KC, otherwise he would have built one here before Columbus. JoCo did that study that showed that a public funded soccer stadium is feasible and makes financial sence. This would be a great project for one of the suburbs to build along side a massive soccer c...

Got bored and talked some smack on KU and Kansas on the KU board. MU fans and KU fans might find it funny...Ripped on Kansas, well because it's Kansas ;), no hard feelings, I know Missouri has issues too..., but these people seriously think Missouri is all poor people and hicks and the cities are du...

Black n Blue game.

I went to that Blues/Sharks exibition game several years ago and will never pay to see preseason NHL again.

But I am ready for that AHL team, it's been what a 3 year hockey drought in KC? KC has to be the largest city by far without pro hockey.

K-State loses (ouch), MU vs KU should be a good game!

I'm not a K-State fan, but god, you have to feel a little sorry for them after this loss. It looks like this could be one of the best KU-MU games in a long time, anybody going? I think MU is a better team, but KU seams to be getting better and has a lot of confidence right now and it will be at KU. ...

Cyb, have not heard from you in a long time, this must really bug you! I had one of those stickers on the back of my SUV for three years, and I loved every bit of it. It's a lot better than a Jahawk or Wildcat which I think it is KS law to place either one of those on your car becasue every freaking...

MODESA's First Success

Kind of ironic that StL would bennifit first from the KC backed law, after they tried to kill it and only passed it after killing our plans to use it for an arena. I am all for development in all of Missouri, too bad StL couldn't see it that way and it's no wonder so many Kansas Citians have problem...

Yea, this is awesome news. Mabey by the time you get your third new stadium built, we will "announce" plans for an arena.
