Re: H&R Block Construction Photos
yeah, it's the move is tentatively scheduled for july through october. associates in leased buildings most likely will go in first. but yes, it's my understanding that they will still be working on it with us already in the building.

Re: For Chrizow: Tulsa
yeah, it's definitly better than OKC. from what i've seen of downtown, it's not bad, but I haven't spent too much time exploring down there. i believe it does have a semi-decent night life scene. one place i do want to go to is Cains Ballroom. supposed to be a great classic place to see music. ...

For Chrizow: Tulsa
As highlander mentioned.....Blech. My trip this weekend wasn't really any kind of sight seeing(welll duh!) or stay at a hotel deal, so this will be brief. I have been there a few times, but on all occasions it has been to see the same old friends. First off, the drive isn't bad from KC. Took 71S t...

Go away to Tulsa for the weekend and comeback to see the Quintiles thread locked. Outstanding meltdown. First, let me say that Tulsa freakin' blows. Thank god I live in KC. Jeebus, what an armpit. I asked my wife a little more about the Quintiles move and this is what she said fwiw. - Earlier this...

It is pretty cool and does give a feeling of big city marketing. Honestly, I'm just glad he split with that trashy mu ho named crow.

Re: Quintiles leaving KC for Overland Park
my lovely wife works for Quintiles. i'm kind of split on the move. i like it because it will be closer to my in-laws, who watch our kiddo just south of there. less miles on the car too. i don't like it because my wife will be too close to town center plaza and i'm afraid of the shopping sprees s...

What Can A Super Bowl Do for You? (Detroit Version)
Thought this might interest some folks... I sometimes get up to Downtown Detroit's Dime Building, which was recently renovated, for work. They did a real nice job. I've also enjoyed a few games at Comerica. Anyhoo, here's the article. *Edited to Add that I'm voting NO to all this sh*t they are...

I just drove by there a couple hours ago and noticed the sign. I don't think it's open though. The windows seemed all boarded or covered up.
The sign said Breakfast, Lunch and Events.

Re: Midtown Graffiti problem
Anyone seen the small billboard on the SE corner of 39th & Broadway? Some deliquent has advertised "The Graffiti Store" as being located beneath the billboard. I still crack up everytime I drive by it. It's wrong to do, but that is kind of funny.

Re: Photos of my car crash damage + my snowy street
that sucks about your Ford. that's my old neiborhood about 5 years ago. i used to live at 4404 Holly until we moved into the Wisteria Bulding (great building, loved it) behind Westport Sunfresh. i'd walk up that street to the quicktrip. one afternoon, i heard some chick having the loudest s&am...
