Re: Ugliest College Campus in America?

http://www.mnu.edu/about/media/Overhead640.jpg Please.  Not even close.  MNU's campus is quite nice.  They just need to add more and more trees as time goes on.  But, it's not bad for a 40 year old school. My vote is for Coffeyville CC. Wouldn't say that's ugly but I wouldn't call it nice either.  ...

Re: Nazis in Columbia

Seems odd that they would choose a liberal enclave like Columbia to do this.  Are they that dumb or do you suppose they are intentionally trying to ruffle feathers and thought Columbia was an excellent place to get that done?  Maybe they just have a thing for receiving egg baths.  Either way, I tend...

Re: Liberty Triangle

Saw in the Liberty section of the Star that Olive Garden is going to be locating in the Liberty Triangle.  No biggie really but I thought a few people that may not have read about it might be interested in knowing.  Never eaten there before myself but maybe I'll have to try it out one of these days.

Re: Chiefs

I fail to see how he was the Raiders MLB since he hasn't played with them in 2 years. Statistically they are fairly equal, although Kawika has put up a lot more total tackles than Harris has the past 2 seasons. The thing is though, Harris has only played with horrible teams...Raiders and the Viking...

Re: Chiefs

Joey Porter is now available. Not anymore.  He is now a Miami Dolphin.  Harris replacing Mitchell huh?  Seems kind of odd.  Statistically Mitchell is a better player.  At least he was last year.  We may be in for a tough season this year if these are the sorts of "upgrades" the Chiefs are...

How could he be disapointed with Bishops effort...he only held the ball for extra points lol. Yeah, I guess that would make it kind of difficult.  I didn't get to see the game myself so I had no idea.  Just caught the highlights and the final score on the news.  I will make it to a couple games thi...

Re: KC Residents From Somewhere Else

I grew up all over, but claim CA as home because I lived there the longest and because my parents are still there.  I went to college in Indiana, then upon graduation, decided to do a year of volunteer work.  I found a spot in KC doing exactly the type of social work I wanted to do, so after one vi...

Re: Tiffany Springs Market Center

Ahh!!! The dust is kicking up everywhere now.  First Zona Rosa and now this project.  Saw a bunch of graders (graters?) getting busy adding some finishing touches to the groundwork on this site.  I love construction season.  Even if it does mean my car always being dusty.

No problem.  Always glad to help.  I've done the same thing plenty of times myself.  Just don't bust my chops the next time I happen to forget the information I'm seeking is right at my fingertips. ;)

Re: OFFICIAL: Kansas City Mayoral Race

Where'd this info come from?  I hadn't seen it. Would make sense that a lot of the young people in the city that actually vote live downtown and isolated from a lot of the problems in the city...but it's still surprising.  Not doubting you, just curious where you saw/read it... Came from the link s...

Re: OFFICIAL: Zona Rosa (tenants & phase II)

Well, I've been seeing a lot of activity in Zona Rosa the last couple of days.  It looks like phase II may finally be taking off.  Lots of machinery busy modifying the landscape over there.  Of course, I've said this before only to see the dozers suddenly disappear and all activity cease for months ...

Odd that Brooks's biggest supporters come from the youngest age group.  I would have guessed just the opposite.

BTW, the Weston Bend State Park just outside of town is also a great place to visit.  Some fantastic views there and also some great hiking.
