Re: Next Mayor 2019

That comment was stupid the first time you made it and hasn't gotten any better. You're a corporate welfare whore who's more worried about handing out money like it's nothing to big business instead of other pressing issues that continually haunt this city. 1. Not a dumb comment. Your account is ac...

Re: Next Mayor 2019

Miller isn't a Republican but if you like tax breaks for the rich and pet projects at the expense of taxpayers Jolie is your girl. When has the council done a tax break for the rich? This is just ignorant. The city has a flat 1% e-tax citywide. That's the only income tax at the city level. On prope...

Good point. That's all I need to know about this dude.
Miller is using the same consultant that Graves and Ted Cruz use (Axiom). I had heard they work with Yoder as well but haven’t been able to confirm that.

Re: Would you like to see the Royals move to a downtown stadium?

https://www.kansascity.com/opinion/editorials/article226624199.html Finally, an article from KC Star that realistically addresses the stadium situation. At the end of the current leases, TSC will be over 60 years old. Something new will likely need to be built somewhere and needs to be paid for by ...

Re: Next Mayor 2019

Justus is doing a terrific job pulling in cash. In fact, she raised close to the combined Lucas/Miller take in. If the airport takes off soon, which appears to be the case, I think she will get a boost in the polls. Related, some of the council members who have been against the project or developer ...

Good progress has been made on excavating the east portion of the lot. Walked past a few nights ago and it looked like the excavating work could be close to completion.

Pittsburgh to build new $1.1 billion terminal with spectacular hilly roof. Pitt also has natural gas extraction revenues, more warehousing revenues, and a much bigger cargo operation. IMHO we should be focusing a lot more on expanding our air cargo and airport adjacent manufacturing and logistic sp...

I know we don't have a chance of landing this airline but I really think Tap Portugal is gonna see huge growth in next 5 years in the states. They offer free stopovers in Portugal similar to what IcelandAir is doing and the fares have been dirt cheap. I see Portugal as a much more attractive travel...

KCMO is also a lot more spread out than all of the suburbs. JoCo is very compact and in a simple grid making for multiple passes very easy. I find it shocking from the furthest point north to furthest south is like 50 some miles. Not many major cities are that long. Maybe LA but that's about it Sor...
