Re: Companies moving downtown

Same issue with the Loopnet page. The listing has the 500k+ sqft number but also has the 270k sqft in the description.

It may be interesting to note that the smaller version of 3rd Grand is pegged at 300k sqft. The taller tower would certainly cross into the 600k+ range. [the 300k figure seems high]

Re: Companies moving downtown

Wadell Reed currently leases about 300K sqft space with 1000 employees Actually, it looks like their total amount of space is coniserably higher than that. They lease 300k office plus 38k for disaster recovery (?) plus they own an additional 150k of office space. That would put their total close to...

Re: Streetcar to the riverfront

^As lots are developed, these garages can offset lost parking. A developer might develop a lot if not having to build their own garage. Thus encourage more development. And it keeps cars out of downtown. Until we have effective metro transit, parking will be needed downtown. Best to place at the ed...

Re: Streetcar to the riverfront

Apologies for broken record repeating myself: City should build large TIF garages near Paseo Bridge... - Businesses/residents could lease space, reducing need for parking within downtown (perhaps extra secure levels for monthly holders) - New projects wouldn't need to worry about providing as much ...

Re: Three Light

It's certainly an interesting design but just a minor observation, the rendering is different than the missing diagrams. The condo levels, in the rendering, appear to be all glass while the massing diagram shows shaded window dividers. Second, the "3" along the roof isn't featured in the rendering ...

I worry this won't really be spec and they're just waiting around until they find a tenant.
They had been in serious talks with a few potential tenants.

Southwest released their new schedules this week. We had a few service reductions and increases. Nothing overly exciting. What is interesting to me is that this schedule assumes the MAX will be online and yet they still cut some services.

Whats going on with the cladding for the elevator core on the inside elbow of the building? I assumed they would just slap some more of the pre-cast on it, but that would have gone on quick and without scaffolding.
