Re: Parking Issue Solved Downtown STL

Here I am.  Total time logged in: 3 hours and 37 minutes. and after reading my last post above (which I will leave), I apologize, I have really stooped down to his level.  this guy is a nutjob. This is my last post here.  Too tiresome and too degrading.  again, you win. celebrate or something!  BTW:...

Re: Parking Issue Solved Downtown STL

It looks like you are a STLrat to me. Your only posts with one tiny exception are exclusively about STL. You're right Michael, what ever you say. I have only been on the forums for a month or so, only 24 posts, most in these forums right here. That makes me a troll for St. Louis.  yep, you got it. ...

Re: Parking Issue Solved Downtown STL

Thought it would be a waste of my time, and it was.  Now I know why it is the same posters on this forum over and over, most have been run off or just got sick of this kind of BS. It is truly sad that ones opinions can be discredited because another doesn't like them.  In other words there was: http...

Re: Parking Issue Solved Downtown STL

again, a forum gone to shit. this is almost foolish of me to even be responding to this jibberish, but It really irks me. I just noticed before that you said you lived in STL, and now you show up here as resident expert of both. Never did, never said.  Besides staying at St. Louis hotels, which is h...

Re: Parking Issue Solved Downtown STL

TOO FUNNY!
I enjoyed it for the first 2 years. I live on campus at Ellis Hall for that time.  The dorms were nice for the time I was there, but that place is gross now.
You make me feel OLD my friend!  You graduated in 03, ugh!

Re: Parking Issue Solved Downtown STL

Wow, Mike, I don't think you know me well. Asking me personal questions is fine offline in an IM.  But I will be happy to defend my Kansas heritage if I must here.  It's not too exciting. I was born in 1969 in the town of Hays, kansas, which is roughly 4 hours from KC west on 70.  I graduated from H...

Re: Parking Issue Solved Downtown STL

Hi.  Thanks.  Also, like I said, those are just my observations and opinions. Even though we are getting an influx of new resdients downtown, we need to strum up the services, retail and streetlife.  This is where other cities are moving ahead of us.  It frustrates me to drive downtown and many time...

Re: Parking Issue Solved Downtown STL

Thanks for the post Devin, But I don't see it here.  I see the great many projects we have going on, but at street level and people level and density level (and like I said STL pop is larger giving them an advantage) STL has raced over us, especially just in the past year. I travel back and forth, b...

Wow, this thread went to hell in 20 hours. Ugh... I hate that. few comments from little ole' me: posted about the urbanstl site: but how much bashing can go on a site that is ONLY for development? As much bickering and pissing matches go on here... why don't we turn our focus onto just our city and ...

Re: Parking Issue Solved Downtown STL

I definately wouldn't call STL's skyline "lame".  I think that it gets much recognition with the Arch and is much more "distinctive" than KC, Cincy, Indy, Memphis, Houston, or New Orleans with that shinning metal massive thing. I personally think their skyline has a lot of contin...

Thanks Grid for taking care of business.

Again, I cannot tell you how beautiful all of your photos are of both cities.

Just stunning!

Stimulating discussion... that is between Chef and Lock - thanks guys, ugh  But, Please take it to PM if you can. As for the biggest assets of downtown ballparks (IMO): 1) The amount of money fans spend downtown.      In St. Louis' case fans now stay downtown before and after the games.  The B...
