Great pics... Even more astounding than the South Plaza view, on a clear day you can see 1KCP and the rest of the skyline from the Shawnee Mission East sophomore lot (PV city pool) off of Delmar & 77th.

What are your favorite things around town to do on a Friday night? Just lookin for some ideas... I know they're out there.

Perhaps the bagpipe bus driver?? He's usually around Waldo and always plays briefly during stops.

i think that a plan like that would have to be implemented over many years... we have too many people in automobiles to need that much track for streetcars

This is kind of unrelated but I wish they would have given this more coverage tonight. I think that KCTV5 and their political analyst Fred Logan are the best in town, but they still were only on for about 15 minutes max. Though Logan is from JoCo I think he works perfectly in the spot simply because...

As the meeting just adjourned and reports are coming out, it's beginning to actually look as if the tide has turned and is in our favor. 1.) Reports are saying Lemieux was not in attendance for tonight's meeting. 2.) The Pittsburgh Tribune is reporting the Pens having been in contact with AEG earlie...

Streetcars would be a beautiful addition to Lawrence, especially in downtown and campus. I'd love to see something like that progress in a town I'm in so often.

I broke the tie with my vote, and NBA now has 29 and NHL has 28. I personally think either would be awesome, though basketball would draw more to kids around here who would drag their parents to the games.

I saw it too... But I was on my way back from a basketball game in a gym down by Argosy Casino. It looked to be coming from Edwardsville or Bonner Springs, though from where I was right next to the river.

Those are all good... but the best is at a place I'll bet none pf you have been to. The best in KC are at Mely's Yogurt & Ice Cream in Corinth Square in PV. They're unbelievable and definately worth a try.
