Re: Bravicci Hotel Project - South of Crown Plaza Hotel

Agree there is a massive supply side issue on the horizon. There simply aren’t enough condos or office buildings being built. We need more people and more workers downtown.

Re: OFFICIAL - City Club Apartments (former Midwest Hotel)

I know I've said this before but I am so bullish on downtown KC and this is my favorite project, hands down. CityClub will add 100s of new residents, ground floor retail, and it will help connect the developing parts of Xroads to the CBD, Crown Center, and beyond. You're talking about 1,000+ new res...

FWIW there are no parking minimums here. The developer is building based on what the market is asking for. I wish it had 0 parking, but it is what it is...

Question: What are the plans for the parking lot in front of the building's entrance?

I'm excited about this project, anything that adds housing and density is usually a win in my book, but damn, there is too much parking.

This is great! This part of the CBD is in desperate need of more ground floor retail. Glad to hear it's open to the public.

This is a fabulous addition. KC is underserved by rooftop bars and this place will be a huge success. Love this property.

Re: Two Light - 14th & Grand

There is a big disconnect between Power and Light/CBD and the Crossroads. You don't need to deck the trench to fix that. Highways are a physical barrier that have been used to divide neighborhoods for decades. Capping the highway and creating a park or development is vital to restoring a connection...

Re: Two Light - 14th & Grand

I'm absolutely all for an I-670 deck park a la Dallas. I think the space would be incredible, and likely very well used.
