Re: Where does a Garmin-bound recent college grad live?
Not a big fan of young folks living in the far flung burbs, however, for that location (Garmin) I would tell her to check out 143rd & Metcalf. There are several newer apartment complexes along that stretch and some resturants and bars in the area and along with 119th. Depending on where she li...

Re: Thoughts on Denver
Downtowner, I couldn't agree more, I've had the same experience not once but three times. The moutains are awsome and downtown Denvers growth is impressive but the city as a whole is boring and full of chain restaurants.

Re: The ACLU
Can you cite an example? All I see on that website is information about an organization that is trying to protect people's existing rights against demonstrated unlawful oppression and discrimination. I looked at the site and did not see any example of the ACLU protecting the free speech of abortion...

The ACLU
httpThe only position they have on any issue is whether the rights already guaranteed to people are being denied or threatened. The ACLU doesn't support or oppose abortion, environmentalism, monetary policy, KU, MU, or anything else, except where it relates to the rights that people already have. ^^...

Re: Windows Lofts
For that kind of rent why not own ? The question should be, with rent like that why buy. Similar units in that building were priced at $213,800 which was in line with comparbles in the area. At that price and with a mortgage at 5.5% interest plus 1% PMI a monthly payment including HOA dues of $23...
