Pretty cool Power & Light light-pole type thing going in on the corner across from Sprint Center today.

Seems like if they had tenants for these spots they'd be working double time to get stuff done and open to catch all the summer foot traffic.

KCLover, I think they actually did set a deadline on Cordish, but for some reason it's like sometime in 2009.

As long as the tall brunette bartender keeps wearing whatever she wears I'm happy to go there.

We saw some of the plans and renderings for this stuff last semester when my class was working on the Main Street 2030 plan, but I can't recall much of the specifics other than the Hawthorne renovation and parking struct...

This sucks. There was nothing better than drinking on the sidewalk and listening to some great music there.

They really need to open up those ugly silver blank walls between the lower level and 1st level of suites on the East side of the arena, like they did for the Metro Sports Zone side.

Also, that's about the drabbest looking teamstore I've ever seen in a major sporting venue.

Anyone know how extensive rehabbing would need to be done for the old paseo to be re-used as the LightRail bridge if it were moved west to a better approach for the LRT?

I haven't been there yet myself but I cannot believe they don't serve boulevard.  One concern:  With all the hiccups getting things started up, is it really wise to make the P&L districts opening coincident with the Big XII tourney?  Seems like they would like to open a few weeks in advance and...
