The sign is up...something about that makes it more real now. Location is north east corner, below AMC and Target. I didn't peek inside, but looks like the inside space is ready to be built out by TJ's.

remember how Riley got Deb Hinsvark shit canned because she had doubts about the numbers on this project? Deb Hinsvark, former chief financial officer for Kansas City government, tried to work with the CDC-KC on the Citadel financing while she was employed by the city from 2005 to 2007. She said at ...

I've had Sprint's SERO plan for a few years. It rocks. I see that the rates have increased, but they've also added a bunch of services. just a heads up--you can't use the "old" SERO plans (pre-Hesse era) with any of the new OMGSMRT phones (Pre, Android, etc). it's tearing me up inside, t...

will be interesting to see what the center does with the space...if they even try to fill it. the garage around it is crumbling and has been closed for quite some time.

what a bad two days in general for KC economic news. there was AA, then Sprint this morning. Garmin also took a huge hit (some tech profits are calling GPS-only devices "toast") - Google's phone map application will now offer turn-by-turn directions on your phone for no additional cost.

no arms on these (or any other ramp meters i've ever seen), just lights. the delay is usually only 3-6 seconds. a moving arm would take longer than that.
they look like they're on schedule for november. it'll be freaking hilarious the first day these turn on. "OMG WHAT DO I DO?!"
