Re: Vinino

I got to go to Vinino on Wednesday night with a friend and we had a great time. I really loved what they did with the space, great ambience. By the time we got there they had run out of everything but pizza but we got to try three different kinds and they were fantastic. To drink we had their house ...

Whoever it was didn't steal them, they piled them all in the west elevator. It was just a stupid prank.

Re: Cold Storage Lofts

I can't hear my neighbors peeing or taking a crap, in fact I rarely hear them at all. Sometimes music. I like it here but I pay $650, I would never pay market rate. They need to do a better job of cleaning up the trash in the stairwell. I could care less if someone walks around with their drink, wha...

Re: Succotash!

I don't know, the fingernails were gross guys. I mean I was a server before, I would never have gotten away with that. Besides it wasn't his fingernails that pissed me off it was his rude attitude. I don't eat at the Cheesecake Factory either. Just because I was grossed out by the server doesn't mea...

Re: Succotash!

Yeah I went once. When we got there my boyfriend accidently broke a bottle of hot sauce when he bumped into a table. The waiter seemed pissed even though my boyfriend apologized. Then when he brought the ticket he told him that he had brought negative karma or some bullshit like that when he came in...

Re: Cold Storage Lofts

I just want to chime in and say that I am really happy with my unit here. It's really nice and whenever people come over they just gush about how cool it is. I love it a lot. I am not a nit-picker though.

Wait a second didn't you used to endlessly quote Jane Jacobs and talk about how important it was to fix downtown?

Re: Cold Storage Lofts

Wait a second. At first I responded because the fire alarms went off and it just ended up being a false alarm I guess, and that's what I thought you were talking about. I don't know anything about any ambulences though, I didn't see that and I haven't heard anything about it either.

Re: Assistance needed!!!!ASAP

Well I really want to move into the Cold Storage building I just don't know how much longer it's going to take, that's where all the aggrivation is. I know they are just opening and I think it will be worth it to wait it out. Thanks for those suggestions though.

Re: Assistance needed!!!!ASAP

Oh yes, people are moving in. In fact, people were secretly moving in before they got their permit. They sent out their email that they got their permit nearly two weeks ago and not a word from them since. I too am getting about sick and tired of this stupid crap. I heard you literally have to call ...

Re: Cold Storage Lofts

I'm supposed to move in January 26th, I hope they have everything worked out by then. I have a 2 bedroom unit on the 7th floor and have an awesome view of downtown as well. I snuck on the roof during the open house too. It will be so awesome to hang out and swim up there in the summer. I can't wait!

I work for a flower bulb wholesaler, we just sold 50,000 tulips to Southtown Foundation for this project. We sold them as mixed but there will be certain beds that are all one color. It's going to be simply gorgeous, I can't wait to see it!!

Re: beer.

This past Tuesday the Flea Market was unfortunately out of PBR, which is 99 cents for happy hour. I had to resort to the next cheapest thing, which was Bud Light for 1.99. I have to say that I like PBR better than Bud Light. Lucky for me they had back their PBR for tonight's Flea Market happy hour....

Re: Halloween costumes

I've always preferred AtoZ which is off of Wornall I think. There's the Kansas City Costume which you already covered and Dottie Maes but AtoZ is far better than both imo.
