I like 75th to 79th troost to paseo, along with some blocks Gregory to 75th although the streets are north to south n more spotty, 75 to 79th the streets are east to west nice old homes small to large interesting looking n partly integrated blocks,

Anyone know if Alta Vista is continuing the plan to open up their middle school at the empty school on jarboe/belleview and 27th st? Douglass?

I attempted to cut thru this place on the way to sun fresh, you know, like any regular elementary school, it was Friday night, no kiddos in site, just breeze by....ha! Encounter so many damn heavy duty gates and walls, what is this? Leavenworth? I wonder if this is a decent school either.

A little local fact, the hood north of the blvd is known as guadulupe,for the guadualupe church, south of the blvd is known as sacred heart, for the church, my older friend as a teen lived in sacred heart in the 70s and apparently there used to be gang wars between the two, the 2 churches merged now...
