Twin City Tavern at Westport Rd/State Line would probably be good for this. It can get smoky though.

Re: Jerusalem Cafe on 39th Street
Too bad Jerusalem sucks so bad these days. Seriously, what the hell happened? I was elated when they opened on 135th because it meant that I could enjoy a falafel sandwich for lunch. Then came the buffet. My previously $4.95 falafel sandwich, rice, and soup was now over $8 since I had to assembl...

Village Hair Styling off Tomahawk in Prairie Village. It's definitely a barbershop but they do a good job, it's cheap, on my way home from work, and they don't mind that I'm sweaty from riding my bike home.

I think we already determined that ANY name can be made into a derogatory pun. I like "Scouts" but any royalty-related name would be good.kcmetro wrote: If they suck, people will call them the KC Clowns.

Re: If you play SimCity...
I just started playing Sim City 4 and I've been reading SC forums. The SC fans are really pissed off about this. The sample graphics they released are soft and cartoony.
I hate EA, but I guess I should blame the millions of people that like The Sims instead.

Re: Wizards 2007
Yeah, I would watch more Wizards games on TV if I knew when they were. I rarely think to check their schedule online, and when I do the next game is usually far enough away that by the time it rolls around I've forgotten about it. I have the Wizards' schedule on Google calendar. I can share the ca...

Iliki Cafe at I-29 and 64th.
Slightly upscale middle eastern. It's in one of the most hideous strip malls I've ever seen, but the dining room is awesome. They have a great wine and beer selection.
