I saw the sign for the Ross the other day. They’re also putting up a new talk sign along 169

Also, this isn’t in Twin Creeks

Re: Status and future of the River Market area??

That pic reminds me... has there been any activity yet with either the Cafe Al Dente or Winslow's spots? The landlords seemed in a hurry to send both packing but I haven't found anything since about plans for either spot. If they hit the official end of the lease it was probably the only time they ...

Re: Plaza move-ins (ongoing)

The Plaza is a popular location for office space. This makes me wonder why that building would ever convert to a senior living/assisted living facility. Why wouldn't it continue to be office space? It’s a hard design to do large floor plates that are popular today. Probably better to convert and re...

The community also will offer 24/7 nursing and other services for a wide range of care levels, from low to high acuity. Few able-bodied residents would be willing to pay for 24/7 nursing care if they don't need it. This isn't remotely a fair assessment of what these facilities provide. 1. There's a...

Re: Downtown Buildings with Activity

Had noticed a little bit of activity around the building at 913 Wyandotte. Always hoped a use would be found for it, but according to Parcel Viewer a pre-demo inspection was in October. Fencing has gone up around it. proposed 2-story parking garage. no development application has been filed. rumor ...

I could be wrong, but I think I recall someone saying that building was to be demolished as part of a plan to rebuild the garage next door as a larger structure. I heard that when I worked next door. They built the garage on the corner to handle a larger structure. He let that structure go bad too....

Is the timeline still to build 4 once 3 is close to being done? I would think that all the demand would lead to bigger buildings and faster start times. They're probably doing exactly what you would think, doing a demand forecast with each new building and adjusting their schedule. Like if Two take...

the citywide homes tour has a spring and fall event not sure about the downtown-specific homes tour Three can't be *exactly* the same because Walnut to Grand is a steeper grade than Main to Walnut and they're reversed, Grand is in the draw. The question is will they redo the garage entrances so they...

The parcel at 2001 Grand is assessed based on a value of 2,657,500.

If you ever thought there's a disparity between market rate and the real market, this goes to show it.

No need to fix the turn lane back up if you eliminate the south plaza jog... plaza library generates a lot of trips. why eliminate jog now when streetcar construction will disrupt that segment of main/brookside? I see your point about construction, but isn’t that going to be an issue anywhere up an...
