Re: Phase Three Streetcar Expansion

According to this 1925 atlas, there were turning wyes at Prospect and Indiana on those lines. There was no through service east of main, though.

I wonder how much of the original facade is intact on 906 under the covering.

The North Oak/I-29 interchange is a mess. Rebuild it as part of the project.

Has there ever been a diverging diamond / streetcar combo?

Re: Closing Grand all the time is stupid.

Horrible idea that causes unnecessary bus reroutes....our major streets aren't meant for parties first. Unnecessary bus reroutes? On a Saturday? Thankfully the city leaders understand how important community events like Irishfest, Beerfest, Pig and Swig, Family Fun Days, Fiesta, and many others are...

I used to tap Verify in front of them until I had one driver get annoyed that he couldn't see the numbers changing. Now I hit Verify before I board and hold up the phone for them to see "Verified" with changing numbers. That has been working without issue for a couple weeks now. I also noticed this ...

You can write to the City Planner assigned to the project. They will compile all comments and submit them along with the documents to the CPC.

Re: Historic Old Northeast

Re: Historic Old Northeast

If you're ever feeling too happy, go look up photos of the neighborhoods south of Independence Ave, stretching east from Locust. There were blocks and blocks and blocks of great urban form that would be in hot demand today. Instead we have vacant land, wide one-way streets, and shabby light industry...
