There is momentum downtown and someone will wa...

just when you think that this city is becoming a real city, things like this happen. You don't tear this down without a plan to replace it.

i just drove by about 20 minutes ago and there were a few trucks outside and guys who looked like they could be the architects and foremen outside pointing and talking out the plans.

i would assume that it would be easier to purchase an empty lot somewhere else along the streetcar line than to purchase an existing building and tear it down. Guess my assumptions are wrong.

Have you ever been to a non tourist area of San Diego. My experience in SD was a few months atCamp Pendleton (the USMC base) and the surrounding area. They are far and i mean FAR ahead of Kansas City in almost every way.

Re: Status and future of the River Market area??

Same goes for Denver. I was there last week and they had fully build out neighborhoods where every ...

I see no reason to revise my earlier prediction: this poorly designed hotel is going to extend the dead atmosphere of the convention district into the Crossroads. I'm still holding out hope that they are going to put some kind of thought into the pedestrian experience. Remember, they did put this p...

Re: Two Light - 14th & Grand

It does make the current complaints about what goes where kind of ridiculous. The public vote could have gone the other direction and this could be our present day reality.
