Re: Computer People - Hard Drive Crashed
I'm not sure if it would work for this instance, but many people fix their hard drives by putting them in the freezer and then running them cold. http://www.lockergnome.com/blade/2006/12/02/dead-hard-disk-try-putting-it-in-the-freezer/ Edit: Oh darn you fixed it. Put it in the freezer anyway, for ...

The only thing that was derailed by Ron Paul not winning the election was America.

Chicago is America's finest city. It's cleaner than NY or LA and the people are more normal than those in NY or LA.

Correct. Blame the Rambo movies.kcdcchef wrote: so let me see if i understand this. almost every country in the world has a lower crime and murder rate than we do here in the good ole' us of a, and it is because we have more dangerous people, NOT because they have more strict gun laws. interesting.

Same answer. You think there are many dangerous people in Sweeden or Norway? Any gangs or organized crime? Not too many.kcdcchef wrote: how about japan? norway? sweeden?
It's the people, not the laws.

You cannot compare the two. Two very different cultures and crime situations. Less crime in Britain because of the people not because of the laws.kcdcchef wrote: well, he has a point. he lives in a country where they are illegal to own, and they have a severely lower crime and murder rate, true or false joe?

Re: Gun Control
Highlander you have got to be joking.
If you outlaw handguns, you'll only be taking away guns from honest citizens. YOU WILL NEVER get guns out of the hands of criminal. NEVER NEVER NEVER.
So knowing that, honest citizens have NO CHOICE but to carry guns to protect them selves.

to bad one of them is not a private home. Only one of 10 Omaha's 20,000 sqft mansions is not a private home, which is Joslyn Castle. The other 9 are privately owned. Edit: lol schugg (regarding post below), I edited that out, sometimes I am ashamed of how much I know about Omaha's mansions. :D

Von Maur I've always thought it just awful. All they sell are a few polo shirts (like 3 or 4 colors) and just OCEANS of Tommy Bahama shirts, which are ugly.
