There are tons of blocks, midtown, east side, west plaza, volker, etc that have alleyways. I have an alley behind me now, and it was hell just getting the city to trim brushy, tree growth that made going driving down the alley into a jungle cruise.

In the seventies UMB had a lobby office in the ground floor and they "modernized" the lower floors by wrapping them in some sort of Disco aluminum. Would love to find a photo of this indignity.

Saw No on stadium ad on TV sponsored by KC Tenants. I do not understand what advocating for No (or Yes) on the issue does for the interests of lower income renters. How is KC Tenants funded that they can afford to buy television ad space?

Brotherhood building declared unfit for habitation. South approach ramp almost gone. This end of RM going to look a lot different with new open space and Atlas. Anyone seen any details of the pedestrian walkway? Will it only be accessed at 5th St, or will there also be a stairs or ramp further down?

KCAI has no interest in moving, Nelson has no interest in expanding into Southmoreland, especially after Rockhill nixed expansion on grounds of Laura Nelson home.

Is that a roof top pool or just an awning? This is going to be a big shot in the arm for the Northeast, Independence Ave, even Truman Rd.

Having lived in the View for a few years a while back, yes, this area does need retail. and dining. Right now just about anything is at least a 10-15 minute brisk walk away. Cannot be called a Village without it.
