Re: OFFICIAL - Pennway Point
Broadway used to run in between the new building and the old post office and then made a dog leg to hit West Penway. Bring the north-south portion of Broadway back then continue south with a tunnel under the park. Most of the current Broadway through PVP could be vacated for a local 2 lane park driv...

Re: Downtown Baseball Stadium
Should have made the new tax 5/16 instead of 3/8. Then could have claimed new tax that is less than old tax.

From Shortridge's "Kansas City and How it Grew", "The eastern edge of downtown , between Locust Street and the freeway loop, had always been more residential than commercial. The old Kerry Patch around St. Patrick's Catholic Church and the African American Church Hill district formed ...

Re: Downtown Baseball Stadium
The old fire department has been gutted and converted into a residence. The only thing reminding us it’s a an old fire station are people on this forum and a sign on the exterior. Not hardly worth keeping as it’s history has already been stripped clean. It has been awhile since I have been downtown...

Re: Alleyways

Re: 18th and Vine
In an interview in The Independent Julia Irene Kauffman said that she is interested in the success of 18th & Vine. Could she turn her philanthropic interest in that direction?
