Re: KCI Flight Schedule Adjustments

If KCI landed an airline like Aer Lingus with Non Stops to Dublin would KCI even have to do any terminal upgrades since Dublin has preclearance.

Re: KCI Flight Schedule Adjustments

Icelandair already flies to SEA and PDX, so the only theoretical gains we'd see from Alaska codesharing would be for people coming from SFO or SAN. Icelandair is also a JetBlue codeshare, so this flight *might* be of some interest to JetBlue if they want to enter the market here. The timings for SA...

Re: KCI Flight Schedule Adjustments

There is a chance this route picks up some connecting traffic from the west coast primarily in Seattle, Portland and San Francicso. The reason being is that Alaska Airlines has a Code-Share/Partnership with IcelandAir. It would be nice if KCI could land Condor Airlines also since they are another Co...

Re: KCI Flight Schedule Adjustments

The best perk of Icelandair is the free stopover in Iceland for up to 7 days if you are going onto other destinations in Europe.

Prices are not looking too bad either, priced out a flight to Copenhagen in Early June and it was coming out at $697 roundtrip.

Re: KCI Flight Schedule Adjustments

Icelandair is a decent airline but we most likely won't see the rock bottom fares of 99 each way that WOW offers. Also, 5 months seems like a really short timeframe to launch a new route. I could see this only lasting a couple years. I'm excited, I will be trying to look for decent deals on this rou...

Re: Amazon searching for second HQ

I'd be kind of shocked if they did not choose Atlanta now, lots of reports about an Amazon lobbyist going to Georgia, a few gambling sites have them as a clear favorite, i also think they have a lot of the gov't is willing to give them.

Re: Kansas City Tornados

I don't understand how this kind of stuff can make money or survive beyond a year. There has been very little marketing done. The prices for tickets don't seem that bad but why do I want to watch 3rd/4th rate players when I can watch the NBA and NCAA on TV. It seems like these Semi-Pro Basketball le...

Re: Downtown Delivery

I wish they would extend the zone out to Midtown, I feel like they could close up because they are not reaching one of the denser parts of the city. Seems like it would have been more ideal to base this operation in Crossroads instead of River Market.

I didn't think they were IT Indians. I was thinking they were mostly all UMKC students. I don't think most would eat out though. I see them in costco all the time buying 20lb bags of rice and lots of yogurt I'm surprised food trucks don't set up in this area. I think it would be successful just sett...

Re: Downtown St. Louis looking to build MLS stadium

Kind of Suprising that Nashville got the nomination for 1 of the 2 expansion cities, i had no clue they were even in the running or submitted a bid. St Louis will probably never get a team now. I think the 2nd team is expected to be announced today. I think Sacramento or Detroit are the likely teams...

The Condor flights will most likely be seasonal service to Frankfurt. Seems like Condor has a few nonstop to mid size airports like Pittsburgh, Austin, Portland.

Re: Westport

I honestly think anti density people would rather see the neighborhood completely rot, a ghost land/shell of a place as long as it preserves that historic feel The historic feel like Times Square once had with prostitution and crime? I'd rather take 1970's Deuce Crime then what we have today. I'm f...

Re: Uptown Shoppes

I kind of wish people were taxed higher for just sitting on land or taxed for leaving stores go vacant then they get tax breaks for doing something with the building or leasing out the building
