Re: City Corridor Happy Hour Deals

This isn't really a happy hour deal but Affare has a new special called Sunday Night dinner. It's 25 bucks per person and depending on the number of people who do it you get a huge ass salad, a choice of another huge side, veggies and a choice of 3 meats. Some bottles of wine are 20 bucks and desser...

Re: Uptown Theatre district improvements

Krokstrom was on Triple D this week, might help them boost sales. That really seems like a restaurant that doesn't fit the Triple D mold, it's not really a diner, drive in or dive and it's quite expensive and portions are small, this might actually backfire with people that watch and eat at DDD rest...

Re: GO ROYALS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The takeaways for me is if you don't want the stadium to be a dead zone build it next to something already active, have transit connections, surround it with smaller parcel development. If you surround it with garages you are minimizing the benefit of putting it downtown. If I were to rank the site...

Lol no. I just love St Louis. It's probably the best city for a weekend trip with kids in the entire country.
I also love all the regional food found only in St Louis.

I wish we would open the st Louis thread back up.i do have a deep love for St Louis but it's like the loser brother in the movie Parenthood (set in St Louis) in that a don't see a future for it's core and it will struggle for a long time.

I feel like that location is just awful. The landfill isn't that far away, the sewer plant is not far. I am thinking this house will sit for awhile

Re: Rankings, lists, and such

St. Louis has some of the best historic residential stock that I’ve seen available. Pre-1900, handlayed brickwork, plasterwork is amazing and are all super cheap. They just don’t have as many young people who want to see a better urban society develop. Honestly, if I could stomach the city at all I...

Re: Various restaurants coming to City

Went to StreetCar Grill last night using that restaurant.com certificate, i really enjoyed it and we all loved our food. Found the place very generic inside, it should do fine with the hotel across the street but it felt like one of those generic bar/grills you see in downtown locations all over the...

Downtown KC only has about 50K sqft office space delivered or under construction recently (and it's Class B). Columbus has over 500K. Pittsburgh about 700K. Nashville has nearly 3M u/c, though they have 1/3 less total than KC. Meanwhile KC suburbs lead the Midwest with 1.4M sqft Class A under const...

Is this just a bot that randomly spits out city names?
I've always wondered that myself, it seems like a very program to write. It randomly spits out city names, and retails stores that don't exist in this metro

Alaska cutting SFO and San Diego. They made some big route changes today. Pulled out of a bunch of SAN routes. Especially, ones to the middle of the country. Damn, I loved those flights, i will be on the SAN one in about 3 weeks. I guess those prices will skyrocket again with SW being the only carr...

Luck Strike Lanes?
I believe we had one that failed but this is in a more touristy spot and they tend to go in upscale locations.
