Re: Cactuses and Palms Trees in KC?

They can abosolutely with stand the snow.  Bugarian Windmill palms thrive in Bugaria which roughly has the same winter climate as KC. Besides we really don't ever get much snow or extreme temps in the winter. These palms can survive cold snaps of sub-zero. Anyways we have lots of mild days in the w...

Cactuses and Palms Trees in KC?

What many people don't know is that  certain cacti and Palms are able to thrive in Kansas City. My neighbor has her whole front wall filled up with native PricklyPear Catuses. And what is even more suprising is that Palms are able to grow in KC. There are many cold hardy Palms. Some have even plante...

Re: Tech company moving back downtown - to 909 Walnut

If federal funds were garanted to stem cell research then maybe we get our foot in the bio-tech world. Who knows maybe a company who deals with steam cell research & development would get started as a KCbased company. It could one day becaome one of the world's Top corps.. Then the corp. would b...

Re: H&R Block Construction Photos

This building is going to be much cooler than I had expected. It will be a totally unique building. What it lacks in height it makes up for in coolness. How often do you see an oval building that glows green at night? Kansas City is one of the cities leading the way in glassscrapers along with Dalla...

Re: Need Facts or Help

Dude, Newark and Jersey City have nothing to do with NYC... A city is a city, and KC is not really a city. Try visiting Boston, Chicago, NYC, Philly, Paris, London, or Berlin, these are cities.

Re: Need Facts or Help

exactly. here is some of their quotes Dude, my family is from the Missouri/Illinois area. In fact, as prolific as my family is, and as argumentative/as bad a speller as you are, we are probably distantly related. I HAVE been to KC, and it IS a small city, and you can whine and complain and argue all...
