Scaffolding was setup on the south side of the building today. Is this project moving forward?

Re: New Downtown YMCA

How much of the block will this take up? The only reason I ask is because I park in the upper surface lot at 10th and McGee. I wonder if i'll have to find new parking.

Re: Apple's new hardware

I got one on launch day and have yet to be able to recreate the reception issue.  I think the media just likes a story and way over exagerated this.

Re: OFFICIAL - IRS HQ construction

That's actually kind of exactly the point.  The IRS doesn't want Joe Taxpayer inside the buildings at West Pershing, so they set up places with a lot less security that are easier to access for person to person interaction.  Getting into that building when you're supposed to be there involves passi...

Re: OFFICIAL - IRS HQ construction

I can't believe that they renovated that huge, old post office, and built all that new space, and didn't include space for meeting with taxpayers. Perhaps they should also purchase the Pershing Building next door. It has to do with security.  They don't want just anyone coming into that building.

Re: OFFICIAL - IRS HQ construction

Why is the IRS moving to space in Lee's Summit?  Why didn't they move these jobs to their new space on Pershing?  Does anyone know the scoop? http://kansascity.bizjournals.com/kansascity/stories/2010/01/18/daily19.html?s=du&ana=e_du_pub&ed=2010-01-19 My mom works at the new HQ and says they...

Re: The NEW Kauffman Stadium - post your reviews

I had a great time.  Went both Friday and Saturday.  I didn't really have a problem with bathrooms either day.  There are a lot of them.  I just think people saw a line and got in it instead of just walking a little bit farther down and walking right in.  I really like that they have the same food o...

Re: NCAA tournament at Sprint Center

With the way KU/MU are playing now, it's possible they could get early round games in KC. I don't know exactly how the process works, but the top 4 seeds are supposed to get some sort of geographical break in rounds 1/2. If one of them can get at least a 2 seed they are pretty much assured a spot i...

Yeah I think it is.  If Clinton would have had the balls to pull the trigger on Osama in the 90's we wouldn't even be talking about this.  But whatever what's in the past is in the past.  I'm just an idiot Republican right?

I don't make shit, but I seem to be doing ok and enjoyed his tax cuts.  How about the fact that we haven't had a terrorist attack since 9/11?  Pretty impressive right?

First Date Ideas

Anyone have any good ideas for a first date.  It will most likely be a day date and something outdoors.  I'm open to anything.  I just want to do the typical dinner thing because I don't think she is a typical girl.  Thanks for any input.

Anyone have it yet?  If so what are you thoughts of it and the 3G network.  I'm probably gonna get one soon, but want to get some feedback before I do.
