Re: NHL OR NBA, let the message board decide!!

Columbia doesn't have a Arena a Team can play in just Baseball Field. Um.... Columbia has an arena 80% the size of the Sprint Center. It's named Mizzou Arena. In this hypothetical this team wouldn't be the first pro team to share a college facility. The LA Rams share a stadium with USC right now. :-$

Re: The Gallerie - 27th & Gillham Apartments and Condos

Was there supposed to be bike lanes on 27th connecting Grand and McGee? I believe the final product is a bike lane part way that continues up the hill on the sidewalk or something like that. My understanding is that you can thank the prior BikeKC person and PW generally for that. They are convinced...

We all know that the new bridge will be anything but iconic in design, and thus a huge point of moaning and bitching if it's named after MLK..

Please, your honor, make sure the bridge is iconic!

Re: Downtown Buildings with Activity

I noticed a certain local developer with significant River Market holdings posted an instagram photo of 906 today. Totally agree it would make for a very attractive office/residential/hotel. Glad to see Grand may finally be picking up a little.

Exciting stuff--need to make sure the ground level of the garage is activated to further support pedestrian traffic along that corridor between convention center and arena.

Ignorant question, but is anyone in town doing actual pastor on a spit gyro-style like you see in Mexico? I'll listen off line.

Re: Bike Lanes

https://cityscenekc.com/new-downtown-bus-shelters-to-offer-more-amenities-relieve-congestion/ Collison reports that the bus stop upgrades coming at 12th and grand will include diversion of the bike lane behind the bus stop to reduce conflicts. This will be a great improvement over the current setup...
