Re: KCI Flight Schedule Adjustments

Delta is up if frequencies to Boston from 1.6 per day to 2-3. The fares on this route might get even lower now. This is also a great route to use Skymiles on. I'm am always seeing this route priced at 5k-8k Skymiles each way I like the capacity increase but these planes are never full to Boston.

hartliss - yes, that's pretty much it. she's playing club volleyball with a bunch of Lee's Summit girls and has begun seeing what it's like for them at regular public schools. she wants that same experience of kid's living in the neighborhood going to same school provides. being able to walk to a f...

Re: Brookside

BKS Artisan Ale is great. Flying Horse is a good beer spot too and I like their flatbread pizzas. Carmen's is fun to sit at the bar and eat. Like others have said...okay food. Nothing I've ever craving to go back to. To Chrizow's earlier post about BKS and PV/Schools etc. We have been in Armour Hil...

Re: North Plaza Hotel- 46th and Broadway

The new plans for this project are in Compass. The residential portion has indeed been changed to a second hotel. Hotel 1, the southeastern building, will be full service, 175 rooms. Hotel 2 will be select service, 130 rooms. Comparing the "Project Programming" breakdown to the floor plans shown, I...

Re: Brookside

Back to Brookside, we continue to really love the area and would like to stay for the very long-term. The major thing that Brookside seems to lack are good restaurants. There are a few good places, but it seems incongruent with the neighborhood, esp. as the area seems to be getting younger overall....

The ground floor facing Main actually looks pretty good. Nice materials, lots of transparency for the lobby and coffee shop. Eager for the March opening as this corner needs a jolt of activity.
Passed by there yesterday via the streetcar and the SBUX shelves were full of merchandise...

Re: KCI Flight Schedule Adjustments

I'm surprised Air Canada doesn't run more of the Express or Rogue flights seasonally to some of the other hubs to mid tier cities like Kansas City. Would be kind of nice to see an Air Canada Express nonstop to Vancouver or Montreal They MX base does a ton of work for AC, so it could make sense to r...

So edgemoor is the first firm in history to change their design from the beginning to completion?

Not helpful but I'm not crying a drop for edgmoor..... They own part of this Not really. As the city council and others have mentioned they have done everything that has been asked of them. They didn't award themselves the business, the city did. They offered up a timeline during bidding that was n...

Re: We need a new airport!!!

3 council members have approached AECOM and Burns and MAC for their updated numbers on a new terminal. How can we expect Edgemoor and the airlines to continue progress if we,the city, act like this? We want Edgemoor to continue to work at their own risk yet we also approach outside firms - letting ...

Re: Plaza move-ins (ongoing)

Where are these plans loaded to? CompassKC? Yep. While others don't think the location warrants a faux-Spanish motif, I think it does. Even though the current building where Cinemark is missed the mark, at least an attempt was made to prevent the building from being utilitarian. I am more concerned...

Re: Plaza move-ins (ongoing)

A while back, there was a thread about the potential renovation of the Holiday Inn at 45th and Main into a Four Points: http://kcrag.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=20431 A new plan has been presented for a redevelopment into a Kimpton Hotel. It looks a little less ambitious, but it does involve razing a ...

Looks like Frontier is dropping RDU, but not super surprised since Southwest runs it now.
Not surprised at all. F9 drops/adds routes frequently (too frequently in my opinion).

^ Was surprised neither flew to Denver. Looks like most European flights from there are Norwegian Air. Interesting.
True, but they have solid coverage through other gateways.

Lufthansa flies to Munich and Frankfurt
Untied flies to Tokyo
BA flies to Heathrow
