Re: EMP Shield Plant - Burlington, KS
They're finally starting to award the grants for CHIPS stuff, so we may know more about this soon. I really hope this one gets absolutely nothing... such a scam. Looks like they had a groundbreaking a few months ago, but that doesn't really mean much.

Quite a long time coming. Lee's Summit annexed some of that land from Unity Village back in 2011 in hopes of getting it developed. https://lsmo.granicus.com/MetaViewer.ph ... a_id=14834

He/She/They/Them clearly hasn't practiced any self-reflection. Completely in a bubble. What’s the point of intentionally misgendering someone beyond ad hominem? Omg. Really? I don’t know Link2’s gender so I didn’t want to assume and was taking a page out of your book by trying to be “inclusive”. Ve...

I mean he is clearly a white nationalist. And there aren't two sides to all debates. One side takes its cues from these despicable folks, while the other does not. There is no equivalent to either of them on the Left. Calling everyone a "White Nationalist".. just cause.. is about the dumb...

Do you invest in refurbishment, or just scrap and turn it into something new? A lot of things this age aren’t...

Even if EVs need the fossil fuel power plants to provide the electricity, those plants are far far more efficient than any internal combustion engine could ever hope to be.

Why does it always feel like when it comes to naming anything for civil rights leaders, people act like MLK was the only one? We do also have a Cesar Chavez blvd I can at least find record of MLK visiting KC but not Chavez. It still just feels like people never learned any sort of depth in school s...

Re: Wichita
A single hotel is a bit short of a stadium district. All they’ve done so far is move a street closer to the river and tear down like 4-5 whole blocks of old housing and retail for parking on gravel lots. I’d also like to point out they did actually build this in 13 months from my post on the last pa...
