KCP do you think that surface lots are currently not being taxed?  Let me ask you this....What do think the taxes are on a city block of surface parking(ie 90,000 sq/ft of land)?

It's a no brainer, MKB and the KC STAR should be ashamed them...

Great image overlay! How far will the arena extend from 14th grand ? Thought the building was going to stretch one block east and one block to the north(13th)? Just curious if anybody knows the specifics of the area the actual arena building will sit on.

I would think that downtown property would be priced at double to triple the price of suburbia land. The fact that it probably isn't is pretty pathetic! Thanks for the reply Devin, wanted to know about pure land.(parking lot, or post demolition of building) Price per Sq ft. There are many ragged buildings and surface lots downtown.

Anybody know what the going rate for downtown(inside the loop) land is? How does it compare with our neighbor's like St Louis, Denver, Des Moines? Just Curious.
