Re: Transportation Truman Sports Complex - HELP
Bumping to ask about transportation to a Royals game. Staying downtown. No desire to drive. Any bars running shuttles? Any tips on getting a cab after the game, or will I have to wait a long time (it'll be on a weekend)? We'll have a group of four, so a cab may be the best idea unless there's a bar ...

Re: NCAA tournament at Sprint Center
Given that KU, nor MU are not coming to the SC does that mean the waiting list has evaporated? Will OU be bringing a crowd? Can Memphis bring a large number of fans? I do not see the rest of the teams bringing a big number of fans. Can see them returning a large number of their ticket alotments. C...

Re: Another Starbucks coming downtown
We recently got a Starbucks in the downtown Tulsa Crowne Plaza. It offers the full assortment of Starbucks products. I believe it's owned by the hotel, so various Starbucks promotions, like free coffee if you voted, do not apply there.
Perhaps this is what you guys are getting.

Re: NCAA tournament at Sprint Center
I got my tickets yesterday. That'll teach me never to break my personal rule of buying tickets without knowing the section/row number. They're upper level, in the endzone, up in the one of the top rows of one of those triangular sections in the corner. At least there won't be people climbing over me...

I hope they don't have seat nazis. I'm sure they'll be plenty of good seats empty at least for the day games unless a local team is playing.

NCAA tournament at Sprint Center
I bought NCAA tickets last year when they were on sale through that lottery. I'm getting antsy to find out where my tickets are. Anybody have any inside info on when the tickets will come out? I've read it'll be about mid Febuary. I'm assuming I'll get bad seats. Do regular people have any chance of...

Re: Long-term parking
Not sure. I wouldn’t think they would even notice for a week. Just park in a busy part of a garage. But since he is coming back on a late Friday night (or Saturday morning), Crown Center is the best option. Same deal though. Park under the ice rink (not in the garage behind the mall) and park ne...

Re: Long-term parking
Thanks for the tips. I am planning on staying in a hotel somewhere the night before I depart. Perhaps I could stay in the Plaza area and just catch the bus in the morning. Where exactly is the free garage in the plaza? I'll be picking up the car on a Friday night about 9:30ish, or whenever the perpe...

Long-term parking
I'll be driving up from Tulsa to Kansas City to catch the train. I need somewhere to park for a week. I see it's $10/day to park at Union Station. Any suggestions on places to park around Union Station or downtown for a week for cheaper than $10/day? We have several garages here in Tulsa that don't ...

Re: Memphis?
Memphis is one of my favorite mid-sized cities. *Beale Street is always hoppin' no matter the time of year. It's especially packed during Memphis in May. Ground Zero Blues club on some side street near Beale is great. You can buy and consume beer on the street. Dyer's serves some great burgers cooke...

Soda. I cringe when I see a sign in a store window that says 'pop.'
