Re: City Center Square for sale

Even a Walgreens would do well in that space.

I know everybody has a thing for getting a target but I'd think a 3 light would pull that off easier.

Re: City Center Square for sale

Agreed it won't be a 4 story target. ...unless they would use top floors for inventory etc.

Re: City Center Square for sale

This sounds more plausible space wise. At least going to the 2nd floor which is also underused. Never been on 3 or 4 to know what is there.

Re: City Center Square for sale

That whole p&l plaza could fit this need nicely. There are still blank storefronts in the h&r building.

That or expand the zaina / Jimmy John's strip along grand.

Re: City Center Square for sale

Honestly what KC downtown dining is missing is a dense block of counter service restaurants whether they be a chain or local. We have a lot of dining but not in the quick counter service variety open past lunch. This can be witnessed everytime a volleyball convention is in town and cosentinos dining...

Re: Prospect MAX

Are these the first shelters installed that face away from the street? Was that done for any particular reason or just that's what worked nest in the physical space?

Looks great btw

Re: Hotel Overbuilding?

Conventions sales are long plays. Conventions are booking for 2024 and beyond right now. Go back to 2015 in KC, bigger convention groups wouldn't even have sniffed at KC due to the lack of hotel supply walkable to Bartle. We now have the convention space and the hotel supply in place. All up to the ...

Re: Phase 2 streetcar to UMKC

Yeah I was thinking maybe replacement? Maybe it will switch both ways now so you could run US to UMKC say in case of a downtown problem or event?

Seems Pershing to 27th (NB) and 45th and 47th should run in a dedicated (aka concrete barrier) lane.

Love the removal of HAWK signals.
