Re: Gooooogle Data Center
Does anyone know if there will be third-parties that manage these data centers going up, or if they will be run by Google, Edged Energy, etc. themselves? I am very much interested in applying for some of the IT positions in these locations, but I'm not sure where to apply. Thanks for any information...

Re: We are getting a new airport!!!
GRID, I remember taking the walking sidewalks when I worked for the IRS many years ago just so that I could admire your incredible shots of KC. I must say that it was the best part of working there. I for one really miss your photos from around town...especially the helicopter ones. You and Eric Bow...

Re: OFFICIAL - Reverb (1800 Walnut)
Bygone it, thanks for explaining why there are so many turds. Of course! Well don’t be too happy about it, Bygone-It, a world full of turds leads to a pretty shitty civilisation. Here’s hoping true imagination and wonderful architecture returns to KC’s downtown streets, instead of the turds that By...

Re: OFFICIAL - Reverb (1800 Walnut)
I’m sorry, but I think Reverb shows they didn’t do a very good job poaching. That doesn't make any sense. I'm pretty sure that it's up to the owners that determine the look and style. If I'm paying for something to look like shit, then bygone, it will. If I was an architect, and someone wants me to...

They poached architectural talent away from established firm(s). They're not starting from scratch. I’m sorry, but I think Reverb shows they didn’t do a very good job poaching. I don't believe people are not joining due to onerous application processes. Most folks are voyeurs and just want to know what's going on without any intention of commenting. "Long time listener, first time caller". Some eventually sign up when they have something to say. I believe I fit ...

Re: Mark Twain Tower going residential?
Boy do these bring back some memories. I use to go here all the time when it had a Gold's Gym...loved playing racquetball there. What years was the Gold's Gym there? What facilities did it have? I first started going there in 1997 and I believe it closed maybe around 1998. I'm not sure what all was...

Re: Two Light - 14th & Grand
One of my favorite apartment buildings in Denver is One Lincoln Park...sorry I don't know how to add a picture of it, maybe GRID has one from his stockpile of pictures. Anyway, I think something with that kind of design would be a good compliment to the buildings going up now. While I fully agree th...

I just spent a few minutes on your site and like what I've seen so far. It seems to be easy and informative to navigate. I look forward to spending some more time there when I have a moment. Good luck with the site and I'll make sure to let you know when I find something to pick out...liking the Acr...

I don't think very often now. Maybe a couple of times a month.smh wrote:How many times a year on average is the bridge opened?
I know that when it has been opened, it backs the yard up for a while since they have to talk us by the signal that governs the bridge until they get around to fixing it.

Re: Hannibal Bridge
Awesome, I go across that everyday. I can't wait for my 19,000 ton train to fall in! Here is a fun fact...after each time the bridge closes, someone has to go out with a hammer to get the tracks to line back up.
