Re: Troost developments

Same is true on the 4400 block of Forest. Most houses are listed in the 30-40k Market valuation, but one house is listed at over $111k, jumping from at $20k valuation in 2017....again, probably a mistake given no one else on the street jumped. 4433 Forest got a complete rehab. I personally tell people all the time that KC doesn't have a "gay district" that Kc in general is the gayborhood. Gays everywhere! Not that I agree, but according to Zillow - KC's gayborhood is Longfellow which they say has 5.7% same-sex couples https://www.zillow.com/research/affordably-priced-gay...

Any news on the Hard Rock hotel or Menards store supposedly going in out there? Seems like projects move really slow getting developed in that area. My last Blues game was at the Checkerdome. That place was cool! Yes. It was. RIP One of the most embarassing things STL has done (imo) was to tear down the Checkerdome and develop the incredibly bland highlands development. I think they had an offer in hand from the guy who built city museum so ima...

Armadillo sightings are also up in the KC area. Above from 2005... I saw two armadillo roadkill in KC last summer (around K7 and 47th street in Western Shawnee). So I work at Burns & Mac, and I guess we are involved and have started working on some amount of design.
